Hi Ben,I like the new layout.I especially like the way you have put the other bloggers locations.I was always curious as to where some of the others were from.
FYI,Toms astronomy blog is from Vermont.
Happy holidays!!

Andrew, Thanks for the feedback on the site and for the location where Tom is from. I was thinking since there was no feedback on the new look of the site that the changes were less than acceptable. Good to hear you like them!

All the best.

wonderful blog! I have a fondness for these lil divers- unfortunatelly they're usually way out of my focal range.. great photo and it's good to find someone who is also interested in astronomy. I live in wooded habitat now, but still take my telescope out now and then.. the heavens are so vast and there is so much to see..
will add a link to your blog today so I can find you again :)

Cindy,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving the wonderful comment!

Good to see that NYC Nova Hunter is listed on another blog.

I've had your site on my birding blogs list for awhile. I think I added your blog after reading something you wrote for an installment of 'I and the Bird'.

Check out the blogs on the right sidebar under Astronomy/Science Blogs for some great reads from amateur astronomers from across the globe including a few from New York City.

All the best.

P.S. - here are some better photos of the same juvenile Pied-billed Grebe from Cal's site and Bruce's.

Like the layout of your blog. I don't know much about astronomy but look forward to reading more from your blog.

Side note: Bill of the Birds is from Ohio, not Illinois.

Thanks for the location correction and thanks for the comment on the blog.

I recently overhauled it and am currently adding labels to all posts and correcting any color problems due to the change from Rounders to Minima Blue.

Just got back from birding the reservoir in Central Park and saw 24 species incl. a couple of Red-tailed Hawks and a Great Blue Heron.

All the best.
